The Railways and Harbours conference running from the 6th to the 8th of April 2011. Rail and Harbours – will be split between two venues. You are more than welcome to submit a paper for presentation and or nominate a particular speaker.
It is important to note the following:
- Submissions are to be technical nature, focusing on problem solving and innovations. AND NOT company profiles or sales pitches.
- We request that submissions are original and not previously published.
- All presentations are distributed to paid delegates and therefore the presenter must be able to grant the organisers permission to make it available to delegates, electronically via the website and or memory stick given to the delegates during the event.
- The official conference language is English.
- Presentations should not exceed 45 minutes.
- Speakers are not paid.
Paper Submissions:
Speakers / presenters wishing to present at the Railways and Harbours Conference are to submit there papers as follows:
- In PDF format, not exceeding 10 000 words as well as, a full CV and Photograph (full colour head and shoulders) via email to phillippa@railwaysafrica.com
- Or through the website, following the instructions under the heading: Conference
- Speakers will be informed in writing if there presentation has been successful.
- Successful speakers are promoted on the event website.
- Deadline for submission is the : 25th of August 2010
Delegate’s information:
The official language for the conference is English. Should you wish to attend and require translation services, please make sure that you indicate.
